Enough with summer! It’s time for fall! Once Labor Day rolled around, I was ready for blankets, colorful leaves, cool weather, football, and apple everything!
To continue the week’s theme of fall projects, today’s post is all fall, all the time! Full-on fall decorating! I’m sharing some of my friends’ and my favorite fall projects. They are easy, fun, and many are made from stuff you already have in or around your home!

One of my favorite fall projects is turning pumpkins into planters for mums. It’s so easy, takes less than an hour to make, and is inexpensive when pumpkins go on sale for fall (I got these 3 for $13!). And, when you’re finished with them, you can toss them in your compost bin or yard waste bin.
If you’d rather use craft pumpkins, Barb from The Everyday Home shows you how to make a planter out of a craft pumpkin. She styled hers with succulents and apples.
I love galvanized trays and buckets. Suzy at WorthingCourt used her tiered galvanized tray to create a beautiful fall vignette in her kitchen.
Marty from Marty’s Musings made this centerpiece from a tree branch and pinecones from her yard! Her tutorial shows you how to make it and put it all together.
Kirby from Brandywine Cottage put an autumn quote on her cool vintage chalkboard.
Ready for a yummy and easy recipe?
Bring on all things apple! I can’t wait to try these easy apple pie roll ups from Melissa at The Happier Homemaker.
Or if pumpkin is more your style…
How decadent does this Pumpkin Spice Latte Ice Cream Float from I’m Bored – Let’s Go look? Oh. My. Yum.
My fall table from last year… I need to get out the teal, yellow, and orange fabrics again. I’m ready!
Are you ready for fall, or are you holding on to the last vestiges of summer?
