Happy Friday, y’all! We made it to the end of another week!
Today, I’m sharing five awesome home hacks: some of my favorite, super-easy solutions that I use around my home.
(1) Kid Hanger Clips to Hold Laundry.
My kids are just old enough to transition from kid-sized hangers to grown-up-sized ones. But I didn’t just toss the old kid-sized hangers.
The kid hangers come with little plastic clips on them that are useful for a number of things, once removed from the hangers. For example:
Clip the hanger clips on your laundry room drying rack to hold socks, hats, or other laundry that won’t easily drape over the rods of the rack.
You can also use those clips to close chips or cracker bags or use them as a binder clip for papers.
(2) Use old towels to move furniture.
It’s hard to lift heavy furniture. Instead of trying to lift furniture to move it, glide it along the floor on old towels.
Old blankets would work, too. Just make sure that the towel or blanket is totally under the legs of the furniture and that it is thick enough to prevent scratching the floor.
(3) Washcloths to Protect Non-Stick Pans.
Stacking non-stick pans can scratch their surface. To prevent scratching, put a washcloth between the pans:

(4) Freeze Water Bottles for Lunches.
This is one of my all-time favorite ideas. My kids take a reusable water bottle in their lunchboxes. I fill it with water and put it in the freezer the night before.

(5) Hide Cable and Power Cords.
I hate looking at all the power cords and cable wires coming from our TV. I hacked an IKEA basket and hid them:
