Oh goodness. For Thirty Days of Gratitude today, I am grateful that I am finally, finally finished with my daughter’s blue and green bedroom!
This was the project that would. not. end.
But look how cute it turned out!!
I love it. More importantly, she loves it.
What took me so long to finish this project?
See that cute desk and hutch?
It’s a great desk. It’s got tons of storage. It’s perfect for her and her room.
It is from IKEA. There were 67 steps to put it together.
67.
And now I get to put another desk and hutch together for my son.
Did I mention there were 67 steps?
I love my children.
I’ll have another post listing all the products here and where you can find them. Also, several of you have asked me about the paint I used (HGTV Home by Sherwin Williams, “Cooled Blue”) and how it covered, and you can find that product review HERE.
For now, I’m just basking in being finished with her room.
And it’s clean. And organized. For the first time in like ever.
We added needed storage and we recycled, donated, or threw out a ton of stuff that she had been collecting over the years.
She’s really excited about this little nook under the window. Perfect for curling up with a book.
The “Ms” that were there before are back, although I spray painted the black M citrus green (Rust-Oleum Spray Paint).
I love how this room turned out: bright and bold and fun (like my daughter). And organized!
Note: HGTV Home by Sherwin Williams provided me with the paint for this project and Purdy Paint Tools provided brushes, rollers, and roller covers. I’m so grateful they sent me those amazing products – it made this job much easier! That said, though, all painting, opinions, writing, and ideas are 100% my own, as always.
